Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Adam Samuel Gibson

Deputy Sheriff Adam Gibson, during your tour of duty you first served the citizens of this great country as a member of the United States Marine Corps and then the citizens of Sacramento with honor, dignity and compassion. It is now your time to rest with all of the other heroes that have gone before you. We will carry on from here. To the family of Deputy Sheriff Adam Gibson you all are in our thoughts and prayers. The Law Enforcement family will stand beside you. To the men and women of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department hold your head's high as you all carry on during these difficult times. Stay safe. Adam as you enter through the gates of Valhalla your arrival will be hailed by Odin himself. Fair Winds and Following Seas Devil Dog.

God looked around his garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your painful face. He put his arm around you, and lifted you to rest; God's garden must be beautiful... He always takes the best. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, For a part of us went with you, the day God called you home. RIP brother Gibson, condolences to your wife, child, family, and your Law Enforcement family. "Semper Fi," Riley "Good Boy."

Deputy Gibson
Thank you for your sacrifice for your county, state and this great nation. Reno is close to Sacramento and in my long career myself and my agency often worked with Sacramento S.O. It’s a great agency with the finest men and women. Thanks also for serving as a Marine in combat. Veterans like yourself are the finest that America has to offer. You honor our profession, our military and this great nation.
