I have known and worked with Lieutenant King through his years at TCSO, and I will tell anyone that Lt. King is a good man and a good father. His work ethics is entirely based on the policy and procedures. He will always navigate through the challenges and stress of the job, while putting up a great smiles and laughter that will resolve any issues that presents itself. As a Lieutenant, he will be the first to respond and take the appropriate actions necessary towards the resolution of the matter. When I communicated with him weeks prior to his passing, he responded with just one word "Fighting". When he said fighting, I guarantee you, he fought to the last. Lt. King love life, and did not intend to go this soon. Unfortunately, he lost the fight. All I can say is "Abide with him O' Lord, Abide with him."

In my 5 years of working for the county I never met Lt. King in person, we only spoke over the phone. He was always a very kind and funny person. We would laugh and joke about all different kinds of things ALL the time. He always said he needed the laughs after having a hard day. He seemed to be a very good man from what I knew of him. I hope he is remembered that way by others as well.
