Andy Houston Jenkins was married to Maggie White. His family came from Sevierville, Tn.

I Married his grgr grandson , Arlie Lynn Jenkins Dec 22, 1973. We have been married 49 years & we have one daughter Kimberly Jenkins and two grandchildren Aaron & Kailyn.

One of Andys sons , my husbands grandfather, was Arlie Lonzo Jenkins who married Vida Demarcus and they had a fine family , raised in Fonde, Ky. Arlie worked hard in the mines. Arlie and Vida had several children. Daughters , Berdie, Ruth, Henrietta, Elizabeth, Gladys, Joyce, one son named Arlie Gene Jenkins ( who was my father inlaw). Most became school teachers. One daughter not named here died very young. All are gone now.

My father inlaw Arlie Gene Jenkins served in the navy during World War II Some of his brother in-laws served in the war too. After the navy Arlie married his childhood sweet heart Gwendolyn Hodge . ( Daughter of Doc and Mattie Phillips Hodge. They had 3 children Steve, Karen, Arlie Lynn Jenkins( my husband ) Gwen died at young age of 36 and Arlie married 2nd Melba Sparks,( daughter of Rev HM Sparks) Arlie and Melba had two sons, Kelly and Dwight Jenkins.

Andy Houston Jenkins life mattered for his service, to the family he left behind and those that have been born after! ❤️
