On behalf of POINT 27, we would like to offer condolences for Sergeant Herschel Turner. Please know we are eternally grateful for Herschel’s service and his ultimate sacrifice.

To honor Sergeant Turner, POINT 27 sent 27 Thin Blue Line Dog Tag Necklaces, engraved with “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God” Matthew 5:9, to the Moline Acres Police Department in
Moline Acres, Missouri for Herschel’s partner and fellow officers. POINT 27 sent a Folded Flag Necklace engraved with “Greater Love has no one than this; than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” John 15:13 for Sergeant Turner’s wife.

POINT 27 is a Non-Profit organization with a mission to strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families, by sharing scripture on Dog Tags and Jewelry called Shields of Strength.

We will never forget and we are forever grateful.

Deepest sympathies to your family Sgt. Turner as well as to your department and fellow law enforcement brothers and sisters.
Also, I'm sending my prayers to the officer that was involved in the accident with Sgt. Turner..I can't imagine the sorrow and/pain he/she may be feeling from this terrible accident. Just loosing a fellow officer is bad enough but, knowing that you were involved in the accident is terrible. Everyone can tell you how bad they feel but, until your in those shoes no one knows....
Again, may Sgt. Turner rest in peace and his family get some comfort in knowing that their dad and husband although he's not here physically he will always be there in memory and heart and to know that even with his passing he did so doing something he loved and helping others also.
