Det. Holland, it is so difficult to see your photo as you hold your little girl. Kids who are too young to have a full memory of the parent they've lost, the hole in their soul which will remain for a long time...thankfully, this page and our reflections may be able to fill in the blanks of the adult she will become. Your kids will know you through the words of your co-workers.

Thank you for your service to the people of Commerce City and the State of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

I will always remember our conversations we had together about our kids, the laughter and pain they brought us. Know that your brothers and sisters will continue to take care of them and your wife. Rest easy friend, and we miss you dearly.
