My heart goes out to all involved in this horrible accident. These incidents effect so many people that sometimes aren’t thought about when it happens. First off, the family. I’m so so sorry for your loss. Not only was he a police officer, but he’s a dad, husband, uncle, and grandfather. I’m so sorry. To his co workers, again, we forget just how many are affected, everyday, every week, every holiday working, sometimes your co workers are as close, if not closer than your family. I can’t imagine having to respond to a call like this, then finding out it’s one of your own. Honestly, not much more I can say here. I’m retired now, so luckily I’m not put in these situations anymore. That, I’m grateful for, but it still doesn’t take away the thoughts and pain I’ve gone through in the past, I can only imagine how hard this will affect everyone involved. My heart goes out to you all, and Godspeed.
