Heavenly Father, I boldly come before your throne of grace in sincere, faithful, and fervent prayer. I lift up to You for Your blessings and divine redemption and salvation, all those law enforcement officers who have fallen in the Line-of-Duty. For the Holy Scriptures proclaim, “For the policeman does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don’t want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose.” [Romans 13:3-4] Christ Jesus said, “No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13] and “The peacemakers are blessed, for they will be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9]. May God bless, support, and surround the men and women of law enforcement with the hedge of Your protection as they serve and protect us every day and every night. In Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.
