This was so sad to hear when I saw it was you. I was good friends with your little sister throughout school. She would mention you because we had the same passion for law enforcement. I’m praying for you and your family in this time of mourning. Rest In Peace Sheena

This morning started out like a bad dream that quickly turned into reality. Sheena, I still remember how young and naive but eager to learn you were on your first day. I also remember what you brought with you to shift briefing that day, even though you hoped I would forget. It was a long ten weeks for both of us and all day today all the little things you did while “learning” have been popping into my head. You defied the odds and proved to me that you had what it took to be a Police Officer. You turned out to be one hell of a cop and although I don’t think I ever told you, I am proud to say I was one of your training Officers. I hope I made a positive impact on your life because in the short time I knew you, you made a big one in mine. Rest easy little sister.
