Eddie, it was such a shock to hear what happened. Although we hadn't talked in a while, it was always reassuring knowing that you were out there keeping McAllen safe. We went to school together and worked at McAllen together and you were a great mentor the brief time that we were coworkers. I remember how excited you were when you got picked up for the academy and I remember how you brought that joy to everyone that knew you. I'll see you in the next life brother.
