I received an email this morning through NCIC that shared the horrific details of your death. My heart is heavy, especially for your wife and two boys that are left without your presence. Senseless violence against a man who was serving his community. My prayers are with the family during this time. You’re a hero, sir.

R.I.P. Brother. Your brothers have the watch from here. Such a senseless death...... A handsome man who ultimately lost his life to another ridiculous situation. I'm so upset with the disrespect and general disregard for what these people, our protectors, have to put up with these days. Police work has never been easy, but it's especially hard, right now (and getting worse). Let's keep Sergeant Johnson - and all officers - in our prayers.

It saddens me that good people who look out for others become tragic victims of stupidity and unnecessary violence.

In our state of Florida there are Sheriffs that are willing to to deputize legal gun owners to support the thin blue line as needed. I whole heartedly support the citizens who agree to help those who are out there in our best interest.

Back the Blue and be part of the solution and not the problem. Enough already.
