My prayer for all the FBI Special Agents

We thank you, O Lord, for the women and men in law enforcement, for their willingness to answer the call to protect and serve, and for their dedication to the safety, well-being, and protection of others.

Send your holy angels to stand guard and keep watch over them. May their names be always on the lips of your saints in prayer.

Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; fill them with wisdom for the decisions they face; give them courage to handle the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be.

Keep them and their families safe and healthy. Grant them times of rest and renewal. Make them to lie down in green pastures and lead them by still waters.

Bless them and keep them, let your face shine upon them, be gracious to them, lift up your countenance upon them, and give them peace. All this we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FEDERAL AGENT: Someone who solves problems you never knew existed in ways that will blow your mind.

Officer Craig Johnson will truly be missed. I had a chance to meet him a few days before he was killed. He had responded to a possible break in at a store on east 11th street. He arrived to the location but he didn't see me walking toward his car. I tapped on his window to let him know that it was me that had called the police. I must say I spooked him. We laughed so hard about the incident. He said you almost gave me a heart attack. I said I'm just glad you didn't shoot! Officer Johnson had an awesome personality. He was so kind. It broke my heart to hear about his death. He didn't deserve to die the way that he did. All that I can remember is his smile. I pray for his family and friends. We lost a good one!

It’s been one year since I heard the news about your death. I remember sitting on a crime scene while my partner was in a pursuit with a violent criminal. I’ll never forget the sinking feeling I felt as a fellow Oklahoma LEO. Rest easy brother, we’ve got your six.

I've known Craig since 3rd grade. I'll admit I was surprised when he became an officer. I've know several officers but Craig was the only one who I'd call a close friend. I have not watched the video and I never intend to, it doesn't seem right to allow people to view an officer's snuff film(sorry but that's all it seems to be).
I always thought cops seemed just way to overzealous on each and every stop before. Now I understand, they just never know when some idiot is going to do something crazy. I respect each and everyone of you people in blue who do this job and I do hope each and everyone of you that go on patrol make it home after your shift is over.
Craig, I miss you and I won't forget when I see you next it's still your turn to buy the beer. My son James still asks about you, "Why doesn't your friend the police officer cop come by?" He doesn't understand, I still laugh Everytime he says "police officer cop".
So sorry for Craig's two boys and his mom and dad.

I’m not even sure where to begin. Not a day has gone by where Sergeant Johnson hasn’t crossed my mind. I live here in Oklahoma and there is a part of me (of us) that will never be the same. June 29th is a day none of us will ever forget. It’s also my Birthday. I’ve made a promise to Sergeant Johnson to ALWAYS do something in remembrance of him on that day for as long as I live.

To the Tulsa Police dept and his partner/his beloveds and in addition to first responders that arrived to aid these to heroes, I as a Senior Federal Correctional Officer bestow my sincerest sympathy and alarm of the details of this event.. I was so alarmed viewing his last moment on video and I convey such anger sadness at that moment. I truly hope some more aggressive tactics to prevent are employed to prevent a similar incident in the future. This is another example of why prisons are the last place anyone wants to be sent to because we carry YOUR TORCH AND THE TORCH OF Sergeant JOHNSON to bestow LAW AND ORDER and continue what is right in his name and for your effort TULSA.

I am saddened to have learned about the demise of Sergeant Johnson. In this day and age where the field work of law enforcement becomes ever more conplex and dangerous, it is unfortunate that officers as outstanding as him risk their lives for the protection of citizens and to continue to uphold the law. Though I have never known him personally, I could tell that he was an example of how leadership, determination, and all out conduct of a good police officer should be. All I can hope to see is justice saught out for his downfall, and may be swift and just. My prayers go out to his loved ones, and may God bless his soul.

I watched the body cam and dash cam footage and I am ENRAGED!!! Why on earth would the defense attorney think this would be a good thing for that person (I had to reword this a couple times to make it appropriate) and why would they want to let his children and wife or any other family members see that??? I instantly found myself feeling extremely low in a bad way and I had never met this hero. I can’t imagine how his family both blood and blue feel. I continue to pray for this family and the department. This perpetrator then had to run and hide like the little girl he is and his “friend” who was arrested then attempted suicide because he had to face charges for what he did. I’m sorry but he put himself in the middle of it. I want the shooter to get the death penalty and put to the front of the line since it’s on camera. His friend should get at least 30 years for accessory after the fact.

Watched bodycam footage of this incident. Sent shivers down my spine. Officer Johnson was a true American hero and was taken from this world far too soon. My heart goes out to the families involved and pray that they can recover from such a tragedy. RIP to a true hero, one I won't forget. Also, put the killer to death himself, he deserves much more anyways.
