On today, the 110th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Elmore County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

John Perry Edwards was my maternal Great-Great Grandfather. Deputy Sheriff (Tulsa County, OK) was my first civilian law enforcement position. I've been proud to carry on GG Grandfather Edward's legacy of service throughout both my military service and my 34 year career in law enforcement.
