Officer Leath, I am truly saddened to hear of your murder on the streets of another one of our cities. Another coward is taken into custody for his brazen act and your family , both Red and Blue are left to pick up the pieces. May God Bless them and may He hold you in His arms forever. I pray that you will watch over your child from Heaven and guide him from above. I thank you so much for your service to our country and to your community as you have certainly led a life of service and you gave the ultimate sacrifice. I truly wish it could have been the other way around. Rest in Peace, Sister.

I am heartbroken and at a loss for words. Bre, it was just a few days ago we saw each other at Roll Call, hugged and joked around, then wished each other well. Now to hear this is incomprehensible. RIP Bre, we will continue the good fight keeping your memory and never forget your sacrifice...
