Thank you so much for the time you served our country, the State of Nevada in numerous capacities, and our roads in the County you worked in. Seeing your accomplishments throughout your career is amazing. Military, Fire, Fire Marshall, and Police. And to think you stopped to HELP someone in need says it all. Again, THANK YOU.
My heart goes out to your family. This is way to early for a man that gave us his all every day just to make us feel safe. Hopefully your loved ones realize so many of us are so very thankful for what you’ve given. We will always be here for your family in the future. It’s time for you to rest in piece Sergeant, we will take it from here. Thank you.

No words can ease the pain and suffering of your wife, children, grandchildren, mother, coworkers and the good citizens of The State of Nevada, Sergeant Jenkins. Your biography says much about you, the man. A husband, father, grandfather and son. A servant of your fellow man as a military Veteran and a Peace Officer, making the ultimate sacrifice while serving someone who ended up being your assailant. There is a special place in Heaven at the right hand of your Creator, for men and women such as yourself. I honor you for your courage, compassion and professionalism. May you rest in eternal peace.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
