Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Mark Lawler

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

Another one of the amazing men and women who gave of themselves so selflessly on that day and the numerous day that followed. Rest in peace knowing that your service and sacrifice will always be remembered by your law enforcement brethren.

The Love of my Life til death did we part . As you passed in my arms , you took my youth and a lot of my smile and giggle and so many years of memories . I will always love you and God blessed us to let us have that last chance of love the last almost 9 yrs of 25 on n off together . You taught me much . History was your passion , as well as the Miami Dolphins n NY Mets , but now you will be apart of our history . Our hero , my hero . I pray almost hourly , “until wings, your favorite, your love of your life” as you’d say . Jesus hold him close
