God of Justice, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Brother-in-Blue, Corporal Andrew Gillette, of the Sumter County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office, was suddenly and violently taken from us on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was shot and killed in the Line-of-Duty while he and other deputies attempted to serve a detention order and eviction notice at a home at 3120 Thomas Sumter Highway at 11:30 am. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, the Christ, Amen.

“The greatest love you can show is to give your life for your friends.” [John 15:13 GW]

“Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 GW]
