Reflections for Trooper Joseph Jon Bullock

You stopped to help a supposed motorist in need, and they selfishly took your life. Rest in peace Trooper, you will always be remembered.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

This war must end, it has been going on for far too long and has caused pain and suffering to the families of the officers and suspects because the suspects are the ones who enter the war, most likely without family approval, to kill another human being doing their job and making the world as safe as possible.

Joe; my friend, my classmate, my brother...I miss you. I miss your booming voice. I miss your great sense of humor. I miss your unique laughter. I truly miss everything about you.
Thank you for being my left hand man in the academy. I am honored to be your right. Sitting next to you in our class meant everything to me. You helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. We had a great time in the 99th, and it's because you were there. I will forever be grateful for what you've done for me, my family, and our friends. Thank you for your service to this great calling, and for showing these guys what it means to be a trooper. You will always be my hero. Rest easy friend. We will all miss you. And, just know Joe, if I ever get the option...….I will take the "Seizure" Salad every time! Love ya Bull.

my cousin Eric was an officer who, along with his partner, was ambushed and killed in Ohio while responding to a 911 hang up. Trooper Bullock also was doing nothing but his job and the right thing.... what tragic times are these when men like Bullock have to become heroes in this way. THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE TROOPER!
