Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. On Friday, January 31, 2020, Police Officer Alan McCollum, of the Corpus Christi, Texas Police Department, was killed in the Line-of-Duty when he was struck by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Highway 358 near Carroll Lane at 9:30 pm. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father except by way of the Son. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9]
