The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

We are Piedmont Airline Crew and I first met Mr Winkeler on Jan 2 This past Friday night as He met our Aircraft as we were the last FLT of the night into FLO! He kept the terminal door open for our crew so we did not have to walk the whole way around terminal to get out front for the hotel van! My name is Kim Iam a Flight Attendant so Mr Winkeler greeted us and was very friendly talking with us with a Great smile he had I remember that well as it was late and he said he had a long day! He also said he locked LAV doors so pax would have to go to baggage claim to use restrooms and allow our crew to use restrooms privately as he knew we don’t have that luxury very often! I found him very nice to do this! Not too often the airport police stop and talk with the crew! He was very accommodating! What a nice Young Man he was! I was very emotional when I heard this news! He will always be remembered! Thoughts and Prayers To His Family! Kim Stach Piedmont Flight Attendant!
