Michele, we were all ready to honor your name on the wall this year and the pandemic struck. The candlelight vigil was virtual as we honored you from around the country. You will never be forgotten.

Michele and I only worked together a couple times over the years, She was kind and cool. I’m pretty sure she and I had the only over night trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which was a reroute from our original, fog-ridden, destination. The trip was memorable for a variety of reasons: we met one of the best airline captains, our 10-hour day was shortened due to the diversion to Baton Rouge and subsequent broken plane, and we both had zero toiletries, etc. so we went to Walmart together for essentials. There’s more, but the point is we weathered the experience together, smiled along the way, and created a lasting memory from which I always remember Michele. To date, I’ve told the story numerous times, reminding people of Michele and her cool character. We’ll see her on the other side.

Michele Paul will forever remain a pillar of the WFO FAMS. She was the “calm in the storm” and was never shaken by any circumstance. She was an employee who could uplift those around her and exuded confidence into everyone she met. Thank you for everything you have done for our Country, TSA FAMS and all your Co-Workers who’s lives you have touched in the most positive way!
