Reflections for Constable Hamilton Perry Dalton

Constable Hamilton Perry Dalton is my great-grandfather, and his daughter, Bessie Pearl is my grandmother. We have always heard about his death and have a newspaper clipping as well. Such a senseless death, however, my great-grandfather was doing his job as a lot of our fallen police officers were as well. Miss hearing more stories about his side of the family through my grandfather, I know he and she are both watching over all of us. Rest in Peace my grandfather.

Great-Granddaughter Shelly Behaeghe

Rest in peace knowing that your service and sacrifice will always be remembered by your law enforcement brethren.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 97th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your sacrifice was made so many years ago. Evil was, is, and will be a part of life just as goodness such as yours will also be present.

mom of fallen Officer Larry Lasater, eow 4/24/05
