Lieutenant Jones, we never know what might cause our demise and or when. This job is very unpredictable. Your injuries may have been a series of incidents, it may have been just one, but regardless, you died as a result of doing your duty. I admire that, I celebrate that and I salute you as you are layed to rest.

God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be ALWAYS and EVER be peaceful.

9/11 should be a national Memorial Day where all those who were killed or later died as a result of this terrorist act are remembered and honored. We should never forget them and all Americans should learn about this in schools. As a former teacher in California and Florida, I know it is not a part of the curriculum and depends upon the teacher’s decision. So sorry for your loss.
