Beautiful heartfelt service brought me to tears, I didn’t have the honor of knowing this good man who touched my heart through the memories of his family and friends. I pray that his family is comforted in knowing that there are people out here that will be eternally grateful in the sacrifice he made to keep us safe. May God Bless his family and all the men and women in uniform who continue The Watch.

My deepest condolences to the family. I just watched the live memorial service for officer Moya. I did not know officer Moya. However I was deeply touched very moved by the words of his colleagues and friends and family. As I stared at his picture, I recall helping him at my job. I work at a grocery store here in Riverside and occasionally CHP officers will come in and buy cakes for their fellow officers birthdays or retirements or anniversaries. And I I think it was sometime in late 2017. I could see that he was around my age. In fact only one year older than I am. And I thought to myself wow he must be the rookie officer if they're sending him to buy cake. Turns out he was. I I would like to thank his family for his service to the Riverside area. And I would like to thank officers in the line of duty and also First Responders for their hard work and dedication. It takes a lot of Courage and determination to become an officer. Once again my deepest condolences.

Heartbroken... I will continue to pray for the family's strength, peace (when the pain continues to surface in years to come) & their confidence in God's promise in His son...that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for those who have placed their trust in Him. Trust in Gods sovereignty..."Andre's' work hear was done"... rest in Gods arms knowing that...he is resting. With love in Christ to all love ones - family & friends blood,, sworn & church)... we can only IMAGINE your pain . ♡

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

By Jon F. Hooper
