Dearest Police Officer Juan Jose Diaz, May you rest in peace. Thank YOU for your service. Your life was ripped from you after only 2 years. I am so very sorry. I am praying for your family, the Community, Police Department - and all of us. This is too tragic. I pray every gang member is brought to justice and taken off these streets.

Thank you again. I hope to meet you one day on the other side.

This is a beastly, cowardly act by someone who doesn't even deserve to breathe...free air. How 'big' of man are you the one who pulled the trigger as his friends simply watched, laughed and ran like the full cowards they all are.

Prayers and forever hope to those who were wounded and to the officer's family and colleagues.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln

I Thank Officer Juan Jose Diaz for his ethic and professionalism as he lost his life because he confronted a misguided individual(s) to address the "Little" infraction. Officer Diaz believed by addressing the minor infraction he could potentially prevent a major crime in the future of the individual he thoughtfully addressed. I only wished Officer Diaz had more "street" experience which would lead him to rethink his tactic in addressing the "Little" infraction.
May God truly bless Officer Diaz's parents, and may Juan's soul FOREVER rest peacefully in Heaven. May the peace of the Lord be with you.
