Reflections for Police Officer Michael Vincent Langsdorf

So saddened to hear the news.

May you rest in peace after having served those around you. My thoughts are with you, your family, fellow officers and friends.

I only knew Langsdorf as a friend of a friend, but he was the kind of guy that would go to the end of the earth for people. It has been a long while since we have seen one another, but am certain that meeting him again would have been like no time had passed. So sad to hear the news, grieving for his children. I hope that they can find peace knowing that Mike was a hero. RIP brother, see you again some day.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.
