The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Officer Olinger, you fought the good fight, from Marine to Cop, you always had the protection of others forefront in your mind. Sixteen years of fighting after such a horrendous event makes you even more a hero in my eyes. Those who know and love you best will feel your presence for all eternity because, though your physical life is over, you will forever be a part of them, and in a small way, all of us.

God Bless you, Brother and may your rest be ever peaceful.

My condolences to the family of Kyle Olinger!

I had the opportunity to have Kyle as a PT instructor at the Reading Police Academy in 1996. Although I never had the chance to tell him, he made a profound impact in my life which has carried over into my career. He was a Warrior and someone I will never forget! Rest easy brother, we have the watch from here!

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
