Reflections for Detective Megan K. Carr-Wilks

One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Rest in peace always and know that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

I miss you Aunty every day that you’ve been gone. I think about you constantly and I know you’re here with me. My hero, my second mom. Thank YOU for being our hero but also being the best aunt. Until we meet again. I love you.

Megan the fallen officer ceremony was beautiful, I miss you. I remember you saying that you are not hero just a cop doing their job. Love you my dear sister.

Our Hero, Megan, my sister in law will forever be missed, her love for her family especially her love for her Big Brother David knew no bounds. I can still here her out on our calling out his name. Her grandchildren and sons adored her. She left too soon.
