On behalf of the Osborne Family, Philip Osborne, Sergeant with the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary Troop F, Fort Myers, and his wife Lauren, former Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol who worked with Dan, we are utterly heartbroken at this tragic loss. His death was beyond devastating to all who knew him. He was invincible as a trooper, and with his 32 years, he had done it all and seen it all. You either loved him or you hated him, but you had no other choice but to respect him. As a trainer, co-worker, mentor and friend, he was one of the best to ever wear the uniform.

Former Trooper Lauren Osborne (Miller)
