My condolecnes to the family and friends of Police Officer Hunter Edwards. Losing a loved one is always difficult. Please try to take comfort in Jesus words found at John 5:28,29 where he said that there would be a resurrection. Just think of the time when you will see your loved ones again, in paradise conditions, here on earth.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Hunter, your dad was my FTO and in his prime there was no better cop. No doubt, he is so proud of the fine man and officer you have become. I pray that now you and he will get together and share war stories. Lord knows he has hundreds and he tells them so well.

A-B, Tara, Landon and family, I can only imagine the pain you are feeling. May God bless and keep you strong. Take care of each other and know Hunter will always be with you.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln

To the family, friends and co-workers my prayers is that everyone can find comfort in Revelation 21:4 where it said, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Until we meet again may the grace of God give you comfort during your time of loss. Please accept my condolences.
