It is so hard to read all of these posts about how happy Ben always was, how much he loved his job, and how much of a family man he was. The good are, all too often, taken too soon. There was another side to Ben that most of us know. The somber, ever-professional, member of the CCSO Honor Guard. Ben has stood in honor for so many fallen heroes over the years and now, we will stand for him. In honor of his service, his sacrifice, and the footprint he left on our world. Your son Ethan can be proud of the man his father was and we will have the watch from here. Rest in peace Ben Zirbel #6759.
