Heavenly Father, We come boldly and humbly before Your throne in sincere faithful and fervent prayer to remember the life and mourn the death of our Comrade-in-Blue, Trooper First Class Walter Greene, of the Connecticut State Police. You are the Light, the Love, and the Life. We do not sorrow as those who have no hope, for our hope is in Jesus Christ. I've had to work most Sundays,
and at times my talk was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.
But I never took a penny,

Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,

I know I don't deserve a place
