Your loss shook me when I saw it on the news. I hope you are in a much better place today with your loved ones and God. To all those who mourn your loss, my deepest condolences and sympathies are shared with you all and I know that the nation grieves and mourns along with you. I never knew this officer but her loss has affected me deeply. I hope you all can grieve in the time and manner that is needed. I will forever remember the name Amy Caprio and that she died doing her job, trying to stop bad things from happening to other people. Her bravery in those moments when she could have taken other actions humbles me to job done by all officers, good, bad, and in between because when it comes down to it, you all choose to a do a job many, including myself, just cannot do.

Rest in eternal Peace Officer Amy Caprio. I will never forget the sacrifice you made; the bravery and the strength you showed; and all that you gave for the people of your city, the state of Maryland, and the United States of America.
