Thunder, you will be greatly missed brother! I had the pleasure of being your Sergeant just for a short time before being promoted to Lieutenant, but you had a heart of gold, eager to learn, you never took criticism to heart you learned from it and it made you a better Deputy. Your smile will forever live with us here at the Scotland County Sheriffs Office. Fly high Thunder!

We are so very thankful for your service. I’ll never forget meeting you for the first time. I thought to myself, that you were a skinny slender guy... young and I questioned it. Then I got to know you more. You were without question, more than meets the eye and you possessed such a passion and heart for the job and the people you served and served with. I will miss you popping your head into our detectives division, miss your questions, and miss joking around. The scene where you left us, will never depart my mind. Your passing has broken so many hearts forever but, has equally united us as an agency and as a family that we are. You were gone too soon. Rest In Peace Thunder, #143... I will see you on the other side brother.
