Steve, I will always cherish the times we worked patrol together in the early 90's. You were an outstanding cop, partner and father. Your presence, kindness and infectious sense of humor are the things I will miss most. Rest easy partner, we'll take it from here.

This is said of most our fallen brothers, but it rings especially true with Steve. Steve, a second generation deputy, was one of the finest young deputies I had the privilege to serve with. He surely would have developed into one of the great ones. May God welcome you into heaven. I will see you again my friend.

Brian A. Camou, Sergeant
Low Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. Friend, supervisor.
