Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your memory.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

To the family of Micah Flick,

We here in San Bernardino, California, are deeply angered that another peace officer, working a very dangerous job, has had his life brutally and tragically taken from him. His death was premature and it could have been prevented but we have criminals, who lack a conscience and lack all honor, commit crimes like Grand Theft Auto and murder, and not having any concern, consideration or respect for human life or the lives they harm. Deputy Sheriff Flick deserves the country's moment of silence and the highest of honor of our respect for sacrificing himself to do a job that involves the greatest temperance, skill, talent and intellect; his death will not be in vain and his memory and legacy will live on forever. May your family, your wife & twins find the strength to get through this most excruciating time of tragedy and rise up from the ashes of their tears to keep honoring and celebrating you and all you have done, not just for your community but for all society. Your sacrifice will always be beloved. Rest in peace.
