Deputy Gumm was one of my officers. I never met him in person but I worked with him on the radio. Always a nice guy. As a dispatcher, you love your officers. You always want them safe and to go home at the end of the night. The dispatcher who dispatched Deputy Gumm's last moments will never be the same. So all we can do now is pray. Pray for healing, pray for comfort, pray for the strength needed to move forward. On behalf of all the dispatchers at Adcom 911, We Salute You Deputy Gumm. Thank you for being a kind voice on the other side of the radio, a good officer, and one of our heros. God bless your family and rest peacefully.

Deputy Gumm - No sooner do we bury DCSD Deputy Parrish, when our Colorado law enforcement community must deal with your loss. So tragic. We will continue to answer the calls, to investigate, to solve the problems. We will train, react and respond like the professionals we are...we know no other way and know that you'd expect us to do our duty.

Thank you for your service to the people of Adams County and to the State of Colorado. May your wife, family and sworn & civilian coworkers be comforted.
