Dear Sheriff John Kimmey,
I visited this page for the first time today, and I am amazed by your story. How could a man be wicked enough to run for Sheriff, and then attempt to kill you, the current Sheriff? But in the end, you gave him what he deserved, but it is a shame you had to die over something so senseless. 179 years later, I hope you rest easy knowing that you are still remembered today. Rest in Peace and thank you for your service.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

PS: No hero should ever be without a reflection, and I am honored to be the first person to write one for you.
