Daniel McCartney will alway be part of our family. He coached at our gym and was an athlete with us. My prayers go to C and the boys every evening. We will be there for your family Daniel. We won’t stop helping. We won’t let the boys grow up without knowing what you ment to all of us and that you were a Hero. Our God is an amazing God and I’m blessed to have known you. Danny was a great kid; in my scout troop, on my JV baseball team. He couldn't tolerate failure. He had an explosive intensity and the physique to back it up tempered by a solid sense of right and wrong. I knew he was going to be a good lawman and a great ambassador for the Lord.

"When they landed, they saw that a charcoal fire had been prepared, with fish on it, and some bread. Jesus told them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” John 21:9

Our next campfire is with the Lord little brother.

We have lost a great man who protected this country and his community. No words can express this loss. A great husband and loving father of 3 young boys, Navy veteran, and man who loved and provided for his family. Daniel was a selfless friend and brother who loved God, Family and County. A man of Honor and Duty. Thank you for your service and the ultimate sacrifice. You fought the good fight my brother and your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Rest In Peace with the Lord my brother.

The time has come for everyone in this country to see Police officers for what they truly are... heroes. And the saddest thing is that we just lost one of the best examples of that. Rest in peace Officer McCartney. The rest of our Blue family will take it from here.
