Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Zackari Spurlock Parrish, III

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Deputy Parrish and to the officers, family & friends of the officers injured in this incident. When I joined the police in the UK many years ago I was told by senior constables that I worked with that police work was 99% routine and 1% sheer terror. They weren't wrong in that assessment. Keep safe guys and girls.
From a retired (30 years service) UK police officer.
