Before today, I did not know you my brother. However, today I met a very beautiful and special lady that happened to be your mom Sharon. When she told me about you, I told her that you should be on ODMP. I looked you up, found you, and then showed her your profile. She cried, I gave her a big hug and she quickly regained her composure and spoke so proudly of you.
We saved each other’s number and will be in touch. God bless you my brother, thank you for your heroic service, and Rest in Peace.

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

I miss you everyday. Thank you for always being there and showing us what a great step-dad is. Little man misses you too, she could have really used her grandad these past years but I know you're watching over us all. I remember the last time you called and said "dont worry E, when I get out of the hospital we'll go to City Island" wish I would have known that would have been the last time I heard your voice. I would have said thank you for being a great step-dad. See you up there, some day.

Mike was truely one of a kind man. One of the few men I ever looked up to, and still do.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 3rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for the solace of everyone who misses and loves Detective Davis. We will never forget the sacrifice made by each of the 9/11 heroes.

Rest In Peace
