I did 23 years in and retired just shy of 30 years. I've attended quite a few funerals during my time on the job and to this day, it hurts when a cop is killed. It even hurts more when a cop is ambushed for assassinated.
My heart goes out to Officer Familia and her family.
What a shame!

Sgt. (Ret) Stanley Kriegsman
