Reflections for Police Officer Miguel Moreno, III

I had the pleasure of meeting Officer Moreno once, he was my brother's friend. We met on a happy occasion, we all happened to be in Vegas on Halloween. I remember his smile as he laughed and joked the entire night. They say " the good ones die young" so you must have been GREAT! Our community is feeling your loss. Once a VOK ALWAYS a VOK!! You gave your life to protect ours. My condolences to your family and friends. R.I.P. Officer Moreno.

Thank you endlessly for doing a job that most people would not have the courage or conviction to do. That so many bad and law abiding people revile and misunderstand. Many will be at deaths door and not have much substance to their existence But you and your fellow good officers, I know in my heart and soul, enter heaven no matter what the world thought of you and are welcomed as a good and faithful servant. My heart weeps for the loss this country and this world has witnessed with your death. God bless you and your whole family.

A thankful law abiding citizen

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the San Antonio Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother, vaya con Dios!

A Prayer for Police Officer Miguel Moreno:

Lord God of Mercy, Peace, and Love, we remember before Your throne in this moment our Brother-in-Blue, Police Officer, Miguel Moreno, of the San Antonio, Texas Police Department, who sacrificed his life in the Line-of-Duty. We recall with gratitude and respect all that he stood for in this life. Help us to live in the companionship of his spirit. May we be kind to the family, friends, and colleagues he loved; devoted to the community and state in which he served; and loyal to the causes which he championed in law enforcement. Thus, in our life, may he live on, to our great comfort, to the betterment of Your creation, and to the furthering of Your most Holy Will. Amen.
