Reflections for Detective Dexter B. Snow

I just found this site and this information. Detective Dexter B. Snow was my father. He was killed about 2 1/2 months before I was born. Most of my family is dead. I never knew much about why he was killed but seems strange that someone would shoot him over some scrap metal.
I sure wish I'd had the chance to know him. Thank you so much for offering this information online!

Det. Snow,
On today, the 62nd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice as a Law Enforcement Officer. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Detective Snow, thank you for your service in helping to protect one of America's greatest assets. It's a shame this animal waited to kill himself AFTER murdering you, a man just doing his job in stopping a thief.

God Bless you, Brother and may you be resting peacefully.
