No words can say how my heart hurts for the Mainhart family. I worked under Kevin's father, Capt. Ron Mainhart, and I watched Kevin's career blossom over the years. I pray for the family, and all officers who are impacted by this tragedy. I also pray for the two innocent civilian families also killed. Rest in peace, Lt Kevin Mainhart.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Yell County Sheriff's Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
