Det. Koles,
On today, the 90th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the USN during WW I.

Detective Koles, thank you for your service in the Great War as well as in helping to protect one of America's greatest assets, it's railroads. We can only hope that your murderer(s) found true justice for the crime, if not in this life, then in the next.

I am glad to see you have been remembered and memorialized here on this magnificent site.

God Bless and may your eternal rest be and always remain peaceful, Brother.

We cannot fully honor our heroes of the present without paying tribute to our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Lasater Loya
mom of fallen Pittsburg Officer Larry Lasater, eow 4/24/05
