Reflections for Police Officer Keith Wayne Boyer

May Officer Boyer now rest in the arms of the Lord. God bless him, his family and colleagues. Once again a criminal was released into society and soon thereafter killed this dedicated police officer.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Whittier Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

My deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and coworkers of Officer Boyer. So frustrating to see yet another hero killed at the hands of a worthless coward simply because he was doing his job. Even more tragic to hear he was so close to retiring. Rest in Peace Brother.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln

A senseless assassination of a dedicated law enforcement officer.
The previous president, judges, the parole boards and early release system should bow their heads and ask themselves are we responsible for this with our desire to allow convicted criminals not to complete their prison sentenced time.

To the family and friends of Whittier Police Officer Keith Boyer,

I am just absolutely sickened and heart broken over your loss of Officer Boyer. This should never have happened!

I am praying and hoping the release of this animal who perpetrated this horrific crime, and the others, are reviewed by the proper authorities and the parole board members and their slack policies investigated. They obviously overlooked something and that makes the actions of this thug their responsibility.

Officer Boyer's family,

Officer Boyer died as a hero doing what he loved to do for 27 years serving the public and keeping the community safe with his fellow officers. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.

Respectfully submitted,

There is another example of an Indidual that should have never been released. Our problem today stems back to getting away from the way God had intended to deal with murderers, if they deliberatly took someones life then thier life is to be taken by the next day. My prayers go out to Officer Boyer's family and Department. Another Brother in Blue just doing his job.

Officer Keith, there is much evil in the world, you chose a profession where you would confront that evil each and every day, and you lost your life performing your duties. Your sacrifice will not go unnoticed by our God who is all-loving, all-generous. Your reward will be great in heaven. May you rest in peace, and may our Lord immerse you in His Divine Mercy.
