Agent Harton,
On today, the 30th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the USN during the Vietnam War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Special Agent Harton, you're service to this nation is admirable and thank you. From serving the nation in time of war, to serving the citizens of South Salt Lake City and the nation once more in helping to protect the railroad. You are a hero.

Railroad Policing is not a prevalent as it once was and that is a shame, especially in this day and age when theft and hobos are not the primary threat. We need the railroad police to help safeguard our economy and day to day commerce from the threat of terrorism. I hope and pray all the nations railroad executives will realize this and rebuild what once was.

Brother, though 27 years have passed, no doubt those who knew and loved you best still feel the void, but I believe they kept you in their hearts and minds and you have never truly left them.

God Bless and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful.
