My wife and I just closed escrow on property in the beautiful, tranquil City of Show Low. An area we consider "Gods Country," and where we plan to retire. When I heard today what had happened I felt numb. It hit too close to home and proves there are no safe havens left in our country. God bless Officer Reed and his family, both blood and blue.

I am a retired combat vet served 20 yrs active 6 tours in Vietnam. So I know what loss of a comrade in arms is. Part of my healing came when I understood what war is. (War is the ultimate competition it's the only competition you bet your life on) It's something that a lot of people don't understand. When apolice officer gets up and puts his/her uniform on and puts that badge and gun on they step into a war a war on crime. You remain in My prayers my heart breaks with yours and I pray right now that God will give each of you the courage to carry on and the wisdom you need for every situation in every facet of your lives, and for your families as well.
