Although I did not know Darrin, I got to know his department through a former chief of police there during training in 2011. I am sure Darrin is an outstanding servant and he will be welcome to join God in heaven as a protector for all of us. It is a sad loss for his family and his brothers and sisters in Show Low. I pray for all of you.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Show Low Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
