I will be attending this funeral just as I have attended all the funerals in the past. It's tragic what's happening to the city under the current leadership. I'm Darren Aquino, the national Chief Advocate for disabled Police, and I will be attending with members of my organization. I cannot express my emotions through wording. I will be there.

It is a sad day for the NYPD as another one of their own has lost his life during a home invasion attempt. The department mourns this brave officer as they will honor him with an honest to goodness police funeral. His name will join the other fallen officers on the walls in Albany and Washington, DC in May of next year.
